Our jumbo domestic 100% white meat sea scallops are harvested from the cold Atlantic Ocean and have a succulent sweet texture. Scallops are extremely flexible in that they are perfect fried, sautéed, broiled, pan seared, marinated, or grilled on kabobs. High in protein and low in fat, scallops are an excellent compliment to any seafood dish and require minimal additional ingredients in a recipe.
Serving Size: 4-5 Scallops - 1 person
Suggested Preparation: Pan-Seared Scallops
Pat scallops dry with paper towels, and season with salt & pepper (to taste).
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add scallops to skillet and cook, flipping once, until golden brown and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.
