Our award winning Pacific Ahi Tuna Steak is the freshest ahi tuna available on the market. Pan sear, grill it, or serve it rare for a low calorie delicious entrée. Great for creating dishes such as ahi tuna poke bowls, and sushi. Also try making our signature ahi tuna tacos!

 Suggested Preparation: Seared Ahi Tuna

  1. In a bowl, whisk together your favorite marinate. Towel dry tuna steaks and  pour marinade over the tuna, turning to coat well throughout. Cover tightly and chill as long as possible turning over once.
  2. Heat 3 TB oil in a large heavy skillet (aluminum or stainless steel; not nonstick) until oil is smoking. Sear ahi steaks 1½ minutes per side on high heat)
  3. Transfer seared ahi to a large cutting board and let rest/cool 10 minutes. Use a very sharp knife to slice thinly across the grain.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temp, over your favorite salad greens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Sushi grade

This tuna is awesome! We initially ordered the minimum of four and after trying them, we immediately ordered more! They’re terrific with tuxedo sesame seeds and reduced sodium soy sauce! We grilled for about 45 seconds each side on high heat for rare tuna steaks finished with wasabi sauce and ranch dressing! This will be a regular item on our order going forward!

Wonderful Tuna

First time I enjoyed this Ahi Tuna. I served over a salad and the fish was delicious. I might have seared just a bit much...next time I will do less. Sliced perfectly and served with soy sauce.
