When you live in the White Mountains of Arizona, having extra vertical freezers in one’s garage is essential to dining well. New York Steak & Seafood has allowed us to dine well. Looking for a dinner option in one of the freezers, so pleased to discover the St. Louis Style Pork Spare Ribs, that I had forgotten where in the freezer.
The cooking option was freezer direct to a preheated 400F oven for 30-minutes or thawed into a preheated 400F oven for 20-minutes. We elected to thaw overnight. Instead of French fries, we had frozen Brussels Sprouts with smoky bacon and sauteed shallots that cooked in a preheated 400F oven for 40-minutes. The Brussel Sprouts went first into our counter oven. After 20-minutes the spareribs went in. After 20-minutes more, both came out perfect. Prior to cooking the spareribs, I added Jack Daniels Original BBQ Sauce to each rib.
I thought I would need to hold the ribs to eat, but they easily came off the bone with fork & knife. Wonderful taste. Incredible dinner. Breakfast this morning was the leftovers. Working on a new order for New York Steak. The St Louis Style Pork Spare Ribs will be in that order!
These spare ribs are very meaty and have a great dry rub. Easy to heat up and divide. I served them with curly fries and homemade coleslaw and everyone was quite happy. I will be looking forward to my next purchase!
