Our award winning Pacific Ahi Tuna Steak is the freshest ahi tuna available on the market. Pan sear, grill it, or serve it rare for a low calorie delicious entrée. Great for creating dishes such as ahi tuna poke bowls, and sushi. Also try making our signature ahi tuna tacos!

 Suggested Preparation: Seared Ahi Tuna

  1. In a bowl, whisk together your favorite marinate. Towel dry tuna steaks and  pour marinade over the tuna, turning to coat well throughout. Cover tightly and chill as long as possible turning over once.
  2. Heat 3 TB oil in a large heavy skillet (aluminum or stainless steel; not nonstick) until oil is smoking. Sear ahi steaks 1½ minutes per side on high heat)
  3. Transfer seared ahi to a large cutting board and let rest/cool 10 minutes. Use a very sharp knife to slice thinly across the grain.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temp, over your favorite salad greens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy!

The shipment before this one of swordfish about 4 steaks out of the order were tough and fatty.

Nice quality tuna

Tuna. Swordfish. Norwegian Salmon etc. Any of the NYSS wild caught fillets are quality.
Asian style or just a light coat of olive oil then on the grill couple of minutes per side. Quick sear.
Over a salad or on the plate with some stir fry or steamed vegetable these tuna steaks are super.
Remember, fish keeps cooking off the heat. So slightly under cook.
