A staple of Latin American cuisine, our empanadas are delicately dough-wrapped pastries that everyone in the family can enjoy.
Choose from chicken, beef or spinach & cheese.
From frozen, fry 3-4 minutes or brush with oil and bake 15 minutes until golden brown. Try all 3!
I ordered the spinach and cheese empanadas, and was surprised on how stuffed they were with Spinach combined with the right balance of cheese. I air fried mine. Here’s a picture of this masterpiece. I would highly recommend you to at least give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Here is the cooking instructions I used:
STEP ONE: Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F.
STEP THREE: Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip. Spray or apply an egg wash and air fry the other side for 4-6 minutes, or until your air fryer empanadas are crispy and golden brown on the outside and fully heated on the inside.
STEP TWO: Place your frozen empanadas in the air fryer basket and spray them with cooking oil spray or bushing olive oil or avocado oil. Alternatively, you can brush them with an egg wash, thou I didn’t use an egg wash
STEP THREE: Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip. Spray or apply an egg wash and air fry the other side for 4-6 minutes, or until your air fryer empanadas are crispy and golden brown on the outside and fully heated on the inside.
I've bought the chicken empanadas twice. I love them.They are easy to heat up and taste great!
